MTC-2011-03-04 #10 Professional Bodies

Welcome to another episode of the Massage Therapist Central Podcast. I’ve decided to put in some new Album Artwork for the podcast to give it a fresh look.

I nearly ditched this episode to re-record it. It did turn out a little rough around the edges so to speak, but it is what it is and the show is still in re-development stages so I decided to run with it.

I hope everyone who had holiday’s over the Christmas / New Year period are fully refreshed. I hope you didn’t come back from holiday feeling like you needed one.

A week to go until Santa brings you all the lovely things you’ve been asking for. Ok well maybe not, but hey we can still pretend he’s going to can’t we.

Short show and the last show for 2009. I have some back end production changes that will be introduced into the next show as well, which will take the show to a higher level or production value. I thank you for bearing with my while I work out the technicalities.

Unfortunately due to unforeseen circumstances and some timing issues, we are unable to bring you the featured segment in this episode. However it will be in the next episode which will be released on 08 January 2010.

Godaddy.com under fire for superbowl ad

Godaddy are under fire from professional Massage Therapists for their recent Superbowl advert which does not depict a Professional service from a Massage Therapist.

The ad in which aired during the Superbowl, depicted a very unprofessional therapist.

Every now and again I see things like this in the News headlines and it just makes me want to scream.

For one, surely there is no reason for this outcome from any Massage Therapist.

Training as a Massage or Aroma therapist can be both challenging and exciting at the same time.

It’s great to see many people taking up the opportunity to qualify as either a Massage Therapist or Aromatherapy Practitioner and take up this wonderful career path.
