Godaddy are under fire from professional Massage Therapists for their recent Superbowl advert which does not depict a Professional service from a Massage Therapist. NZQA dropping course credits

You may have heard NZQA is dropping it’s credits for Massage and Aromatherapy courses in New Zealand. There is a whole raft of alternative therapy course having their NZQA credit dropped. From the information I have been able to obtain from NZQA’s website, the reason these credits are being dropped is due to them no longer being required by industry. So, what does that mean. However there is no legal requirement other than to abide by New Zealand Consumer Law and the Fair Trading Act. Full story

Training as a Massage or Aroma Therapist in New Zealand

Training as a Massage or Aroma therapist can be both challenging and exciting at the same time. It’s great to see many people taking up the opportunity to qualify as either a Massage Therapist or Aromatherapy Practitioner and take up this wonderful career path. We have compiled a list of  institutions where training as a Massage Therapist or Aroma Therapist in New Zealand can be undertaken. The institutions listed have been chosen as they provide full qualifications for those wishing to take up a career in the field. We do not recommend “weekend” courses as these are only useful for personal use and we don’t feel these courses give enough in depth information to work in the Massage or Aromatherapy fields.
